We have some good news for anyone who would like to own one of our top-spec serial hybrid narrowboats but can’t wait for a new one!
“Minerva” which is just over a year old is reluctantly being sold by the owners as they have now made the decision to move overseas. They love the boat, but they miss the better weather abroad, having previously lived in Thailand for many years.
The boat has an upgraded 20kW motor (this has only run for 19 hours), a Fischer Panda 8000x keel cooled generator (only run for 14 hours), a 600Ahr LiFePO4 battery bank, and 2.4kW of solar panels on the roof (which have generated nearly 1.5 Mega Watts of power since launch)
The boat has been absolutely immaculately maintained by the current owners and really does look as good as the day she was launched. She has only been taken out of the marina where she is based for the occasional trip.
