Kate and Colin Newman are the proud owners of our latest serial hybrid narrowboat “Bears Afloat” which was launched in June. Kate is a talented stained glass artist and high on her priority list for their boat was a studio/work room so that she can work producing her beautiful products while Colin is cruising them silently around the canal network.
You will notice Kate’s love of bears and the colour pink has influenced the styling of the boat. Kate made the amazing stained glass bear portholes, but Colin did draw the line at any more pink on boat! To find out more about Bears Afloat, please see our boat portfolio page.
