We are pleased to report that we have been successful in our bid to build the new Day Trip Boat for the Droitwich Waterways (Pamela May) Trust Ltd.
Due for completion towards the end of March 2019, the 50′ narrowboat “Pamela May 2” will feature all-electric drive, multiple solar panels, a hydraulic wheelchair lift, seating for up to 12 passengers, dropped gunwhale to allow views whilst passengers are seated, a small kitchen area, and a disabled access toilet. The boat replaces the existing “Pamela May” which is used for day trips which start and finish in Vines Park.
The hull will be built by Lambon Boats, based on the Rushock Trading Estate, so it really will be a locally built boat, we are looking forward to working with the team at Lambon Boats – particularly as they are based only about a mile from our workshop!
