Alongside our 13th series hybrid, Amastra, which we are bringing to Electrika this year, we will also be showcasing Electric Dreams – a boat that was originally launched as a conventional diesel narrowboat in 2017, but was recently converted to parallel hybrid and re-launched in April this year.
As both a parallel hybrid and a conversion project, Electric Dreams demonstrates another route into electric cruising. We want to showcase the different options available to boaters interested in reducing their reliance on diesel, whether through a new-build hybrid or by converting an existing boat.
