By the end of this week, our fleet of boats will have cumulatively generated a staggering 20 Mega Watt hours of electricity.
With our boat owners’ permission, we have now decided to show a table on our website which refreshes every day with the amount of solar generated by each of our boats on the previous day, plus the cumulative figure to date. Click here to access the data.
Now that we are getting a few more, longer, sunny days, we have a couple of our liveaboard boats which are starting to generate enough solar power to live on without running their generator or plugging into shore power. As the sun gets higher in the sky over the next few months, the figures will get even better.
