We have been in discussions with the Waterways World Technical Editor, Mark Langley, since the Crick show this year. We told him we were building a Diesel/Electric Hybrid boat, and he was very keen to review it.
We completed “Stray Not Far”, a 58’6″ semi-trad narrowboat, with a Charles Rennie Mackintosh-themed design, for Steve and Christine Grover in early November. They are continuous cruisers and wanted to be on the water before winter stoppages prevented them from leaving Droitwich Spa Marina, so we pulled all the stops out to complete the boat in just over 6 weeks.
Mark Langley paid us a visit just 2 days after her launch as he was keen to get the review in the January edition of Waterways World. We are very pleased with the review – please see below for a link to the scanned version:
