We are pleased to announce that we have secured orders for the supply of 4 more narrowboats to be used for hire on the Scottish Canal network in 2017. The demand for hire boats in Scotland has seen a steady increase in the past couple of years and there seems no sign of this demand slowing down. Operating from their base at the Falkirk Wheel, Falkirk Hire Boats (formerly Capercaillie Cruisers) and Marine Cruises are updating their fleets which is great news for us.
As a relatively new name in the market, Ortomarine will continue to build selected, high specification, hire boats alongside building boats for the private market, all of which helps us to build on our growing reputation for building beautiful, high quality, reliable narrow boats.
