We are absolutely delighted to announce that Dexter’s Star won the Crick Boat Show 2026 Favourite Boat in Show award! Paul & Anthony’s (Narrowboat Life Unlocked) lovely new Series Hybrid Electric narrowboat is the result of our collaboration with Elton Moss Boatbuilders, and we are thrilled that Paul, Anthony & Sebastian can now resume their life on the UK canals, in a well built and well-engineered boat – featuring our Ortomate system.
We can’t wait to see how they find being part of the Ortomarine family 🙂
Big shout out to our very own Rob Howdle, and to Paul Wheeler at Middlewich Narrowboat Service for all of their mammoth efforts in the final stages of the build, and to the suppliers of all the key items of equipment, as specified by us – Voltsport (Propulsion Motor & Eevolution Batteries); Atlantis Marine Power (Kohler/Rehlko Gen Set); Photonic Universe (Rigid Solar Panels); Pro Electrical (Solar Panel Tilt System).
