We ordered Minerva whilst still living abroad in Thailand. We were new to boating and wanted the latest in green / electric propulsion technology. It was important to us to ensure the manufacturer had the relevant experience to supply tried and tested technology. Ortomarine fitted the bill as the most experienced electric boat builder with extensive electronic engineering and software experience they had the ability to offer bespoke components to suit our requirements instead of everything from one manufacturer. This ensured a tailored build with such additions such as a higher-powered electric motor to cope with the more testing areas of the network.
The build went smoothly with exact information and advice supplied for the total build and fit. Their support has been good throughout.
The result has been an efficient well thought out boat with meticulous attention to detail (chrome shoreline sockets front and rear for example). Their products are well advised without over detailing and / or additions that could lead to problems long-term. I think this is their greatest strength.
